Default Swear word in domain name hosting..

So I have a swear word (f***in) in my domain, and apparently bluehost will terminate my account when they find out, so I terminated it now, suppose to receive a refund in 4-5 days.

My question -- Where can I find a reliable host that will host this domain since godaddy doesn't do refunds?

F***ed if I know.

Seriously, though, the First Amendment protects you from some government interference, but doesn't apply to private businesses. These days, with DMCA issues, child pornography problems, Internet predators, and so on, web hosts just don't want to take any risks at all. They just want to run a nice, profitable business without any hassles.

There may well be a host out there somewhere who just sells space, and doesn't pay attention to anything else, but most of the hosts that provide good service are also hosts that will probably tell you to go away. They don't need your business to stay in the black, so they won't take the risk.

Yes. Buy a new domain name.

h so many domain names to choose from, I can't understand why anyone would deliberately set out to choose a name that will cause them issues with getting hosting. I guess some people just don't think things through properly at the start.

I don't know why anyone would want profanity in the domain anyway. Not never sophisticated if you ask me.

You can try lunarpages. They might host it. They allow some stuff that most budget hosting companies won't touch.

Doesn't hurt to ask.

My condolences on purchasing service on a host that hates freedom; I hope you find hosting. My related question: is there a list of these so-called "swear words" posted somewhere on BlueHost, so that others won't have the same trouble, or are customers and potential customers supposed to guess?

You're expected to use some common sense.
